Resident & Day Camps
summer camps
Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines invites ALL GIRLS (Girl Scout members or non-members) age 5-17 to experience the wonders of our Summer Residential or Day Camps! Whether you are looking for a week of adventure or a day of exploring, you are sure to find a great summer camp experience!
Our camps offer girls and teens outdoor adventure to share with friends, both old and new, while building courage, confidence, and character. Camp is designed to give EVERY girl the chance to challenge herself, succeed, and have fun. Girls may come individually to camp or they can register with a friend. You do not need to be a Girl Scout to attend camp.
We are proud to offer an array of activities at each camp location to include horseback riding, swimming, archery, alpine tower climbing, canoeing, crafts, and much, much more. We carefully select camp staff members who are positive role models that will allow the girls to have the time of their lives while at Camp!
How to choose a camp
Our camps are located within driving distance from Raleigh, Wilmington, Goldsboro, and Fayetteville, North Carolina. Each camp has its own unique atmosphere … Come to Camp Pretty Pond to catch a wave at the nearby beach, Camp Graham to sail away and enjoy life on the lake, Camp Mary Atkinson to scale the Alpine Tower or horse around at the stables, Camp Hardee for a sailing excursion. However, each camp allows girls to become one with nature and experience new adventures. There are limitless opportunities available at our camp sites throughout our jurisdiction. Please click on the camp names to the left to learn more.

CAMP FEES
A significant amount of planning time and money are spent several months prior to the start of camp. It is also difficult to fill open slots as the summer approaches. Therefore, it is important to contact the council’s camp registrar as soon as possible if you know that your camper is unable to attend camp.
- If your camper has a medical emergency that prevents her from attending camp, a refund request less the non-refundable deposit will be considered if submitted with a written doctor's statement two weeks prior to the camp session.
- If your camper becomes unable to attend camp for other reasons, the council may be able to refund your camper's session fees less the deposit if your camper’s slot is filled from the wait list.
- If the council cancels the camp session, all fees (including the deposit) will be refunded. If your camper is on a wait list and not placed in a session, the total fee (including the deposit) will be refunded.
OTHER FEES
Fees for Trading Post gift cards, camp care packages, T-shirts and photos are fully refundable with a two-week notice prior to the camp session.
