We need YOU to apply for a Girl Scout License Plate!
The Governor and the General Assembly have given their authorization for a special license plate honoring Girl Scouting -- but we need YOU to make it happen. Girl Scouts all across the state need to order 300 of the special plates before the Department of Motor Vehicles will start making them.
As of today, we are only 10 percent of the way there! And we only have until June 2013 to get those 269 more applications (and checks for $30 or $60).
Won't you sit down and send us your application today? We'll hold the applications until we have all 300, and then mail them to DMV in a group.
You can apply online, by FAX, or by MAIL:

A $30 annual fee is charged, in addition to your vehicle registration free, for a standard specialty Girl Scout license plate. A personalized specialty plate is $60. The specialty plate fee is tax deductible.
For each new and/or renewed specialty plate fee, $20 goes to support Girl Scouting in North Carolina and $10 goes to the North Carolina highway beautification program. Show your pride! Thank you in advance for your generous support of Girl Scouting in North Carolina!
