North Carolina Page Program

Do you have an interest in government? If so, apply to serve as a Page in the Governor's Office during Girl Scout Week (March 12-16, 2012).

You will join Girl Scouts from across North Carolina to learn about state governmental functions and departments, explore local current events, and visit local sites of historic interest.

Girls are selected through an application process and must have excellent academic standing. Applications are now available and must be returned to the Raleigh Service Center by December 1, 2011.

2012-2013 Girl Board Members --

Each year outstanding girl leaders are identified to serve as girl board members for the council’s board of directors.  Applications are currently being accepted from girls who are currently registered Girl Scouts in our council and in the 9th-11th grade.

Board members participate in developing strategic direction and goals for the council and understand and support the council mission, policy and basic philosophy of the Girl Scout Movement.  The board meets about six times a year (meeting dates are outlined on application).  Girls selected to serve in this capacity have the opportunity to develop leadership qualities and skills while discovering the impact they can have as a leader!  Girls must commit to actively participating in all board meetings.
