You will need to have available the member's GSUSA ID
number (available from your Troop Leader or from the council headquarters) or
the member's first name, last name and email address as it appears in the
membership system.
- If you have the GSUSA ID number, put the GSUSA ID number in the customer ID field and the member's last name. Click Continue. You
will see a notice that you have received an email with additional instructions. Go to your email and look for for an email from Admin. Follow the link in the email to activate your account. You will be directed to the Create User Name screen. Complete the information on
this screen and click submit. This will create the online access to this
member's information.
- If you do not have the GSUSA ID number, put in the member's first name, last name and email address
(typically the parent's email address) and Click Continue. You
will see a notice that you have received an email with
additional instructions. Go to your email and look for for an email from
Admin. Follow the link in the email to activate your account. You will
be directed to the Create User Name screen. Complete the information on
this screen and click submit. This will create the online access
to this
member's information.
- The system may not find the member or may return an error of duplicate
member. This is typically caused by missing information that the system is
trying to match. It must match each piece of information (first name, last name,
email) in order to find the member in our database. If you receive one of these
errors, email helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org for
support.
To renew your or your
daughter's
membership for the 2012 year, follow the steps below. Contact helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org
if you
encounter any issues.
- Gather information
you will need
before you start to renew the membership. Required information includes:
member
contact information (address, phone, email), number of years as a Girl
Scout
(both girl/adult years), school and school grade for the new
year, race/ethnicity, guardian information (address, phone, email,
employer),
emergency contact other than the parent (phone number). You will need a
valid
credit or debit card handy to pay for the renewal(s).
- Log in to
that
person's account (i.e. if you are renewing your daughter's account, you
need to
log in with her user name and password).
- Click
on My Account and then click on the Renew
box on the left side of the screen. If there is no renew box, check to
see if
the 2012 membership renewal has already been paid by clicking on My Account and
sliding
down to My Orders. You'll see either the 2012 membership with no
balance due or
with a performa status and a balance due. If the order has a performa
status,
click the box next to that order and click Pay at the bottom of the
screen.
- The
next screen with be a Pay Orders
screen with the renewal you've ordered.
- Next click on the -add- button
under
the Additional Information* column to update information on the renewal for the 2012 membership year.
- The next screen will show all the
contact information on the member and field for you to update school
information
and guardian information on any girl renewal. Update the information
based on
her status as of October 1, 2011- i.e. what grade will she be in at
that time
and what school will she be attending. (Some schools don't come up in
the
search. Simply choose a nearby school and email helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org with
the correct school for the member and we will add it back office.)
- Once you've completed all the
information for that member, click on Update. You will see the -add-
button
change to -edit- when you've completed information for the member.
- Now you can pay for the
renewal.
