Do you need to take First Aid/CPR course to serve as a troop first aider? Are you having a hard time fitting one into your schedule?
The First Aid/CPR Certification Fall Fling is designed to help as many volunteers get their American Red Cross certifications as possible in one day. Choose a morning session (10:00 am - 12:30 pm) or afternoon (1:30 pm - 4:00 pm) session to get certified!

This course is open to all registered adult members who are interested in obtaining Adult and Pediatric (Child and Infant) First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Participants who successfully pass this course will be certified by the American Red Cross for two years and may serve as a troop first-aider.

The courses offered combines online work and instructor-led practice and skill testing. Participants must be able to complete a minimum of three hours (3) of online course work (depending on computer and/or internet speed) prior to training and be able to print or email proof of completion to the instructor.

During the instructor-led portion, participants will participate in “watch-then-practice? and hands-on training. Upon successful completion, participants will be able to recognize emergencies, care for injuries or illnesses and perform CPR until professional help arrives.

This course is recommended for individuals who have not taken this course previously but open to all.

Course registration is $12 and covers the cost of the certification; individuals may choose to purchase a participant manual at an additional cost of $9.00 when registering.

Registration Opens: October 4, 2017, 10:00 AM      Registration Deadline: December 22, 2017, 11:59 PM (midnight)
